01Delete your account in the app
- Open the Aurora app and sign in.
- Tap Profile, then the Settings gear.
- Go to Account and tap Delete account.
- Choose a reason (optional), confirm with the OTP sent to your number, and tap Delete permanently.
Your profile and plans are hidden from other members straight away. You are then logged out on all devices.
Have Aurora+? Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel it first in the store's subscriptions screen so you are not charged again. See our Refund Policy.
02Request deletion without the app
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, send us a request. Fill in the form below. It opens your email app with a ready-to-send message to hello@auroranow.co. You can also write to us directly from any email address.
To protect your account, we may confirm the request with an OTP sent to your registered number before we delete anything. We will confirm by SMS or email once deletion is complete.
03Delete some data without closing your account
You do not have to delete your account to remove data:
- Photos, bio and interests: edit or remove them any time under Profile → Edit.
- Plans: delete a plan from the plan screen. Plans also expire automatically after 48 hours.
- Chats: delete a conversation from your chat list.
- Location: turn off location permission in your device settings.
- Verification selfie: ask us to delete it using the form above. Your verified badge will be removed.

05Before you delete
- Deletion is permanent. Your matches, chats and Aurora+ benefits cannot be restored.
- If you only want a break, you can pause your profile under Settings → Account → Pause. Your data stays, but nobody can see you.
- If you want a copy of your data first, choose "Copy of my data" in the form above.
- You can sign up again later with the same number, unless the account was banned for breaking our Community Guidelines.
